Meet the Artist

Anita Soloman

I have lived in Kent all my life and have been fortunate enough to move across the county drawing inspiration for my pieces from its coastal views, inland waterways and rolling landscapes.

These pieces bring together a love of Kent and a passion for anything fabric. After thirty years of working with textiles this is a new venture and a diversion from home furnishings and interior designs.

Most people have a favourite place and we often overlook or take for granted what is on our doorstep. I hope I've created unique pictures of these familiar scenes. I've chosen some special places and used warm tones and blended the fabrics to capture hazy skies, inviting seas and the glint of the sun.
