Meet the Artist

After the success of my exhibition, Daydream Believers at Ripley in 2005, I was really looking forward to the next one.   However in January 2006 at the age of 48 I suffered a stroke, which meant much of the last year was spent in recovery and rehabilitation as well as working on pieces for forthcoming exhibitions.

The multi-media pieces demonstrate my passion for colour and texture and are collaged with artifacts from childhood – sweet and chocolate wrappers, buttons, sparkles, confetti gathered from the church path, stones collected from the beach, wild pressed flowers from the meadow.

Above all, they are a celebration of love and life.
