Meet the Artist

Chris Dare - Dip:Art, BA (Hons), acrylics

Having trained in London, Chris gained a BTEC National Diploma in General Art and Design (Tower Hamlets college), followed by a BA (Hons) degree in Graphic Design (Camberwell College of Art - The London Institute).
Having carried out a number of commissions of flowers Chris continued developing this area.  He says " I love producing bold and colourful paintings of natural forms in acrylics, using sponges to create the soft tones and textures of flowers".
This is Chris' first exhibition of his work in this area.  He is currently working on other subject areas in the natural world, notably fruit and vegetables.
