Meet the Artist

Sarah Harrison, oil & artex

I am currently an Art teacher living in Gravesend where I have a small studio in which I produce my paintings.  I have always been interested in Art and studied Fine Art at Hertfordshire University.  There I experimented with a variety of different materials and it was at this point where I discussed my love for Oils.  My time spent there allowed me to develop my interest in objects and the world around me to find ‘inner beauty’ in all natural forms.   I have always been inspired by the world around me and my camera is never far by my side.  It is my memory and inspiration for all of my work.

I am currently exhibiting work in small coffee houses around Kent.  This has given me the opportunity to meet and work with some interesting people.

I believe that you do not always have to have a reason for being creative and that sometimes just like life itself, you do things without thinking.
